What a website will not fix
If nobody is searching for what you sell, a website will not create demand — that is an ads and content problem, and I would rather sell you the right one. And a site cannot rescue a Google Business Profile with no reviews and no photos. For most local businesses that listing drives more calls than the website does; it is usually the cheaper thing to fix first.

How much does a website cost in the UK?
A starter site of up to five pages starts at £750. A fuller business site with a page per service is around £1,450, and a corporate or multi-service build runs from £2,950. Most UK agencies quote £2,000–£7,000 for the same work — they are covering an account manager, a project manager and an office. These are bespoke builds, not templates; the price is low because the overhead is.
How long does it take?
Three to five weeks for a business site once I have your content. Content is nearly always the bottleneck, so the proposal tells you exactly what I need from you and when, and I will write the copy for you if you would rather not.
Do you use WordPress?
Not by default. Most business sites do not need a database, a login screen or a plugin update every week — those are the things that make sites slow and get them hacked. I build static sites that load almost instantly and cost nothing to host. If you genuinely need to edit content daily, I will say so and build accordingly.
Will I be able to update it myself?
Text, prices and images, yes — the handover documentation shows you exactly which file and which section, and it is plain English. If you would rather never touch it, the care plan from £45/month covers updates.
What about hosting and ongoing costs?
Hosting is on Microsoft Azure and most sites sit comfortably on the free tier, so ongoing cost is usually just your domain — about £12 a year. No mandatory monthly fee, and the site is yours to take elsewhere whenever you like.
