SEO for businesses in Nuneaton and Warwickshire
Rankings are not the product. Phone calls are. A site that ranks third for a search that leads to work is worth more than one that ranks first for a phrase nobody types before they buy.
From £450/month — ongoing local SEO, three month minimum
Local SEO is unusually winnable. National keywords are fought over by companies with budgets you cannot match, but "emergency plumber Bedworth" or "app developer Warwickshire" is a contest between a handful of local firms, most of whom have never written a page aimed at it.
The work runs in a fixed order because that is the order that pays: fix what is technically broken, claim and optimise the Google Business Profile, then build pages for the searches that end in money. Skipping to the last step is the most common and most expensive mistake.
What this covers
SEO in practice
01
Technical SEO audit & fixes
Speed, mobile usability, crawl errors, duplicate and thin pages, broken internal links, missing structured data. The unglamorous foundation — and often the fastest gain, because most sites are carrying obvious faults nobody has looked for.
02
Google Business Profile optimisation
For most local businesses this listing generates more calls than the website. Categories, services, opening hours, photos, Q&A, posts and review replies all feed local ranking, and almost nobody keeps theirs current.
03
Local landing pages
A real page per service and town — not the same page with the place name swapped, which Google has recognised and discounted for years. Written to be genuinely useful about that area, which is also what makes it rank.
04
Content that answers buying questions
The pages people read immediately before spending money: what it costs, how long it takes, how to choose. These convert far better than blog posts about industry news, and they tend to rank because so few competitors bother writing them.
What a month looks like
No surprises in the scope.
Everything below is part of the quoted price. If something you need is missing, it goes in the proposal with its own number rather than appearing on the final invoice.
- Technical health check and fixes as issues appear
- Google Business Profile kept current — posts, photos, Q&A, review replies
- One substantial new page or significant rewrite each month
- Internal linking and on-page work across existing pages
- Rank tracking for the keywords that matter, not vanity terms
- A one-page monthly report: calls, enquiries, what moved, what is next
- Direct access to me — no ticket system
What I will not promise
Nobody can guarantee a position on Google, and any agency that does is either misleading you or planning to rank you for something worthless. SEO is slow: expect movement at eight to twelve weeks and meaningful results at six months. If you need enquiries next week, that is a paid ads conversation and I will point you there instead.
SEO — common questions
How long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work can show up within weeks. Ranking for competitive local terms realistically takes three to six months of consistent work. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting keywords nobody searches or is not being straight with you.
Do I need SEO if I already get work by word of mouth?
Often less than you would think — and that is a fine answer. If your work already fills your diary, the honest advice is to spend the money elsewhere. SEO earns its keep when you want to grow, when a referral source has dried up, or when you are entering a new area or service.
Is there a contract?
Three months minimum, because less than that cannot show results fairly to either of us. After that it is month to month with 30 days notice, and you keep everything produced — pages, profile improvements and documentation.
Can you do SEO on a site you did not build?
Yes, and most SEO clients come that way. The audit tells us early whether the existing site can be fixed or whether you are paying to optimise something fundamentally slow — and if it is the latter I will show you the numbers rather than quietly billing you monthly.
